The Valley
Here you can find the important info about the Seriana Valley
that is, our location
The Seriana Valley is located at the foot of the Orobian Alps, right near Bergamo, and extends northeastward from there for 60 km. Its eastern boundary to the south is marked by Mount Bastia and its western boundary by Colle Maresana; to the east, Pizzo della Presolana, more than 2,500 m high, leads into the Scalve Valley; and to the north, Pizzo Coca, more than 3,000 m high, is the highest mountain in the Orobian Alps and marks the border with Valtellina and the province of Sondrio.
It is the Serio River, from which the valley takes its name, that continues to shape it day after day by flowing slowly.
